SEOUL – LG Corporation announced on the 4th of June that it has signed an MOU with Hancom Group to promote cooperation in overseas markets. To achieve this, LG’s CEO Chun-sung Yoon, and Hancom Group’s Chairman Sang-cheol Kim signed a MOU on June 3rd in a meeting at Hancom Group in Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do.
Under the agreement, LG Corp. will conduct overseas marketing, export and sales of various Hancom Group products, services, and technologies. Furthermore, business cooperation plans and opinions were exchanged regarding various fields such as the 4th Industrial Revolution and Untact Solutions, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, robotics, and quarantine technologies that are suitable for the post-COVID-19 market.
“The strength of LG Corporation’s advanced overseas network and business planning capabilities will create new value for the market and customers in business cooperation with Hancom Group.”, said LG’s CEO Yoon.
Hancom Group’s Chairman Kim also said, “The technology has been deployed and validated by various customers and users such as government departments, local governments, corporations, and students during COVID-19. Hancom’s opportunity to expand in the overseas will be greatly accelerated by adding LG Corporation’s strong overseas infrastructure and business capabilities.”
